There are currently two Gen 1 viable drive through voice AI companies: Soundhound and Hi-Auto. Both companies use human-in-the-loop and require custom hardware. In the case of Soundhound they have hadsuccessive failures at brands due to their technical design. Hi-Auto has struggled to grow due to accuracy and performance problems. Since their IPO, Soundhound is down 64%. Neither competitor offers users the ability to make customizations to orders that are not priced, e.g. scoop my bagel.
Audivi AI is currently raising up to $3.5m in a priced post money round of $9m pre and up to $12.5m post. The valuation is supported by a LOI from Coca-Cola for $319k once product development is completed.
